Client Onboarding

Overview

Client onboarding workflows consist of additional meetings, deeper fact finders, and contracts. Similar to prospecting, you need reminders and follow-ups to take new clients through your specific onboarding process. The fact finders dive deeper into the high level financials captured during prospecting by collecting specific account details needed to actually do the work.

Then there are the contracts. Your custodian and planning software require their own paperwork, and you likely have additional contracts for your specific business. All of this takes time, and automation can be the difference between a painstaking experience and one your clients are happy to take part in.

Finally, adding new clients to your client meeting booking sequence is essential to keeping them on track from day one.

Example Build

A Salesforce Status field flipping to true or the pipeline stage moving to onboarding triggers the sequence. The Client Service Agreement is generated using fact-finder data and notes captured during prospecting, then sent through Docusign for signature. Custodian paperwork for Altruist is sent in parallel.

Reminders and follow-ups go out through ActiveCampaign until the paperwork come back signed. Once they do, the new client is automatically added to the meeting booking reminder sequence so they're set up for the rest of the year.
