Digital Fact Finders
Overview
Your fact finder should be unique to the services you offer, whether that's comprehensive planning, investment management, or something more specialized. It needs to gather data from the primary client with the option to add a secondary client like a spouse or life partner. And it needs logic built in to adapt the form to each client's situation. Whether a spouse should be included, the client lives abroad, they own a business; each answer expands or hides the relevant sections so the client only sees what applies to them.
From there, the data flows where it needs to go: your CRM, your planning software, and your file storage system. Mapping and organizing the data this way means an AI personal assistant can surface specifics about a client when prompted.
It also unlocks automatic document creation downstream, like Client Service Agreements generated from the data the client just submitted.
Example Build
For a cross-border advisory firm, we replaced their basic Google Form with a digital fact finder that adapts to each client's situation. For example, if the client lives abroad in a second country, the form expands to capture residency details along with the financials in each country.
Submitted data flows to Salesforce for client records, eMoney for planning, and Google Drive for file storage. The completed fact finder is also saved as a PDF in the client's Drive folder so Perplexity can surface specific details about that client when the advisor prompts it.
System Audit
We map how you currently collect client data, what's actually being captured, and where it needs to be stored. From there, we identify the conditional logic unique to your firm so the form adapts to each client's situation rather than asking everyone the same questions.
Service Integrations
We connect the fact finder to your storage system so client data flows where it needs to go automatically.
Training & Handoff
We show you how and when to send the form, which can also be automated based on triggers in your CRM.
